Hasimara is a small town in the Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal state, India near the border with Bhutan. The town is located in the central Dooars region of the district and is surrounded by tea gardens. The town also lies on the way to Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan, and the border is just about 17 km away. River Torsa flows through the back of the village. Tourists visiting Barodabri are primarily attracted by the Chilapata forest which is adjacent to the village. Jaldapara is also just 10 kilometres away.
