Whenever we are discussing about Mono Ethylene Glycol or Propylene Glycol, an issue of leakage & its aid arises. Even when we are using Inhibited Ethylene Glycol or Inhibited Propylene Glycol, the problem remains the same. In today’s face, the technical development & modernization of various industries is our primary concern. And that leads us to replace water with Ethylene Glycol or Propylene Glycol as heat transfer fluid & antifreeze agent even though water is cheaper & riches in terms of resources than Glycol. With advancement of industrial technologies we are in a phase to replace these uninhibited Glycols with Inhibited Mono Ethylene Glycol or Inhibited Propylene Glycol to overcome the corrosion related problems caused by uninhibited Glycols to System metals. So, whenever wherever Uninhibited Glycols are used, Corrosion Inhibitors for Glycols should be added to them and additionally it is better to use already Inhibited Mono Ethylene Glycol or Inhibited Propylene Glycol keeping in mind the industrial demand.
